These babies are considered "human beings" according to section 223(1) of the Criminal Code and are entitled to legal rights, including the right to life, liberty, and security of the person guaranteed by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It is distressing that the details surrounding the deaths of these born-alive babies remain unknown. We urge the RCMP to investigate these suspicious deaths and uncover the truth.
