Parents' rights are being challenged in Ontario schools as their freedoms about their child's education are curtailed. Despite Premier Doug Ford's promise to permit the opt-out from the contentious Ford/Wynne sex-ed curriculum, a parent's request met refusal at a York Region District School by Superintendent Liz Davis. Davis and other LGBT activists hold the belief that allowing parents to opt out their child out of sexually perverse lessons violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

School boards across Ontario, including the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and the Halton District School Board (HDSB) hold the same radical views that create an increasingly toxic environment, making it impossible for parents to assert their right to shape their child’s core values.

Teaching classes about homosexuality, masturbation, and "gender theory and expression" to children is unacceptable.

Human rights should never come at the cost of anyone losing their innocence nor their sense of who they are in being born male or female, let alone children!

Heeding the voices of concerned citizens can bring about change, as evidenced by victories in New Brunswick, where Premier Blaine Higgs’ is fighting for parents to know if their child has decided to “change gender” at school, and Saskatchewan, where Premier Scott Moe has prohibited Planned Parenthood from the schools and is granting parents full access to Saskatchewan’s health and sexual education curriculum.

We must act now to demand that Ontario’s Education Minister, Stephen Lecce, uphold parents' rights by allowing them to opt their children out of radical sex education at the beginning of this new school year.

Only by rallying our voices together, will we be able to free our children's educational environment from this sexual influence.

Sign this petition today to Hon. Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education, Liz Davis, Superintendent of Education, York Region District School Board (YRDSB), Roy Lynn, Chair of YRDSB, Lyra Evans, Chair of Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), Margo Shuttleworth, Chair Halton District School Board (HDSB), urging them to provide parents the ability opt their child out of radical sex-ed.  Aid us in reclaiming children's education.

Give Parents' the Right to Opt Their Children Out of Sex-Education

Dear Hon. Stephen Lecce, Roy Lynn, Lyra Evans, and Margo Shuttleworth,

I am calling upon you to grant parents their right to pull their kids from the Ford/Wynne sex-ed curriculum found within our schools.

Denying parents the right to opt their children out of these classes because of infringement on the school's rights to "develop an understanding of equity and inclusion" is deeply disturbing since it interferes with parents' rights to raise their children according to their own values.

Parents opting their kids out of these lessons do not violate the Charter of Rights and Freedoms nor the Ontario Human Rights Code. No violation is committed because schools do not have a legal right to "develop an understanding of equity and inclusion" within the province’s children. There is no evidence that opting children out of sex education classes and LGBT-related activities harms their ability to be successful in life.

How does a curriculum developed by a convicted child sex predator foster a reasonable understanding of equity and inclusion?

The answer is simple — it doesn't. The current sex education puts children at risk of sexual exploitation.

It also takes away precious time for children to learn the necessary skills to become responsible, mature, and productive adults of tomorrow.

Parents know what is best for their children. Give them the right to remove their children from radical sex education classes and LGBT-related school events.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
