The shameful imposition of abortion onto Northern Ireland by Westminster has now extended to post-primary schoolchildren.

Please SIGN and SHARE this urgent petition to ALL Ulster political parties to publicly come out forcefully against new regulations which will force Northern Ireland's post-primary schools to promote "access to abortion" to their pupils.

Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris, MP, just announced appalling changes to the post-primary school Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) curriculum which will force schools to cover "access to abortion" and abortion as a legal "right" as part of the course. NBThis petition will also be CC'ed to him.

This is a brazen slap in the face to all Ulster parents who are the first educators of their children in the most sensitive areas of human sexuality and morality.

It is also a slap in the face to faith-based schools in Northern Ireland and to their principals, teachers and staff, many of whom object to teaching schoolchildren about how and where they can obtain an abortion.

Please SIGN and SHARE this urgent petition to ALL Ulster political parties to publicly resist and defy these regulations as an affront to children's innocence and parental consent in the areas of human sexuality and morality.

It is important to note here that these changes in Northern Ireland school regulations - to promote abortion - were announced in Parliament by Heaton-Harris who claimed that he was acting on foot of recommendations made in a United Nations resolution called 'CEDAW', or the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.

During his announcement, this is what Heaton-Harris said: "I have today laid regulations in Parliament to implement the CEDAW recommendation to 'make age-appropriate, comprehensive and scientifically accurate education on sexual and reproductive health and rights, a compulsory component of curriculum for adolescents, covering prevention of early pregnancy and access to abortion in Northern Ireland, and monitor its implementation.'"

So, the imposition of abortion onto Northern Ireland came from Westminster and the indoctrination of NI schoolchildren on abortion is coming from the UN via Westminster?!

But, the UN does not legislate for Northern Ireland, nor for Great Britain, and UN resolutions and treaties are only enforceable to the extent that the Member States are willing to enforce them!

And yet, NI Secretary Heaton-Harris has the audacity to use a UN treaty as a cowardly excuse as to why he is now forcing schools in Northern Ireland to actively promote abortion to schoolchildren.

Fortunately, some of Northern Ireland's religious institutions are standing against this brazen attack on children.

Bishop of Derry, Donal McKeown, suggested that if the new regulations went into force, they would not be obeyed. In an interview with the BBC (which has now been removed from the BBC website), Bishop McKeown said that the new regulations promoting abortion may, "perhaps end up having schools penalised and criminalised for not obeying the legislation."

And, Free Presbyterian Minister, Rev Gordon Dane the convenor of the church’s Government and Morals committee said: “Abortion is the killing of living human beings and for Secretary of State Heaton Harris to announce that abortion must be taught in schools in a way ‘that does not advocate, or oppose, a particular view on the moral and ethical considerations of abortion or contraception’ [but, which, at the same time, facilitates access] is frankly incredible."*

Right now, we must demand that Ulster's political parties stand and protect our schoolchildren from this type of death culture, leftist indoctrination!

Please SIGN and SHARE our urgent petition asking all political parties in Northern Ireland to publicly condemn, resist and defy the new RSE regulations announced by Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris.

These new regulations are designed to promote and facilitate abortion, and to strip parents and schools of their right to conscientiously object to such inflammatory and corrupting instruction being foisted onto the impressionable young minds of their children

NI must resist and defy Westminster's order to promote abortion in schools

We, the parents and grandparents, and every other concerned citizen of Northern Ireland are pleading with ALL political parties in the province to reject, resist and defy Westminster's directive, via the Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris, to force post-primary schools to advise pupils on how and where to obtain an abortion.

Two things that should unite all parties in Northern Ireland are the right of kids to be kids and not face indoctrination on abortion, and the right of NI parents to be the first educators of their children in the most sensitive areas of human sexuality and morality.

The fact that Chris Heaton-Harris used the UN CEDAW Treaty as an excuse to impose abortion on Northern Ireland schoolchildren is as cowardly as it is non-sensical.

The UN does not legislate for Northern Ireland, nor for Great Britain, and UN resolutions and treaties are only enforceable to the extent that the Member States are willing to enforce them!

Especially because this edict has to do with children, it must be resisted and, if necessary, openly defied.

People have had enough, and they draw the line at what happens to their children in school!

Fortunately, the religious leaders of Northern Ireland are speaking up, and suggesting that these regulations must, and will be, defied. The Bishop of Derry, Donal McKeown, suggested as much in an interview with the BBC (the link to the article has now been conveniently removed), and the Convenor of the Free Presbyterian’s Government and Morals committee, Rev Gordon Dane, was scathing in his criticism of these appalling regulations.

Now, we are asking you - our political leaders and your parties - to make enough noise about this most important issue that Chris Heaton-Harris will be forced to tell Westminster that these policies must be rescinded as the people and children of Northern Ireland will never accept them.

Thank you for acting today!
