A baby boy, called Searyl Atli, has made headlines. And, not for anything he, himself, has done.

But, rather, for what his gender-confused father, Kori Doty, and the compliant - but, altogether wrong-headed - government of British Columbia, have decided. Namely, to cause Searyl's biological sex to be struck off his health card.

Now, instead of "M" appearing to designate the sex of this infant boy, Searyl's card is marked "U", either for "undetermined" or "unspecified".

Doty told CBC news: "I'm raising Searyl in such a way that until they have the sense of self and command of vocabulary to tell me who they are, I'm recognising them as a baby and trying to give them all the love and support to be the most whole person that they can be outside of the restrictions that come with the boy box and the girl box".

But, many distinguished psychiatrists are now speaking out, against the wrong-headed notion that sex is fluid and a matter of choice. In particular, they are concerned about the welfare of children and young people in this regard.

In fact, Dr Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins, who has studied the phenomenon of gender dysphoria for 40 years, has stated that the idea of gender fluidity "is doing much damage to families, adolescents, and children and should be confronted as an opinion without biological foundation wherever it emerges".

And, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) is clear about transgenderism contradicting both biology and science:

"Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: 'XY' and 'XX' are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder. The norm for human design is to be conceived either male or female. Human sexuality is binary by design with the obvious purpose being the reproduction and flourishing of our species. This principle is self-evident... Individuals with DSDs [disorders of sex development] do not constitute a third sex".

Moreover, the ACP goes on to state that the public promotion of transgenderism promotes a type of "child abuse":

"Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse. Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present [themselves] to 'gender clinics' where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs. This, in turn, virtually ensures that they will 'choose' a lifetime of carcinogenic and otherwise toxic cross-sex hormones, and likely consider unnecessary surgical mutilation of their healthy body parts as young adults."

Therefore, for the BC Government to accede to the wishes of a gender-confused parent, and deny a minor the right to have his sex be properly designated on official documents, is a dereliction of the duty of care owed to the child.

Additionally, this dangerous practice may be a factor in any future psychological problems this boy may experience.

With these things in mind, this petition - which is directed to the BC Minister of Children and Family Development, Hon. Katrine Conroy - calls on the BC Government to reverse this decision and put a halt to any further implementation of the same.

Thank you for signing this petition, which puts the rights and psychological welfare of children above the desires of gender-confused adults.

BC Government should not scheme with transgender radicals to confuse minors

For the Attention of:

  • BC Minister of Children and Family Development - Hon Katrine Conroy

We, the undersigned, object to the BC Government's surrender of sound reason and judgement in the recent case of Searyl Atli, an infant boy, who, because of his gender-confused father, has been denied the designation of his proper sex on his health card.
