The Durham Children's Aid Society is organizing and promoting a series of drag queen storytime events across the Durham Region to celebrate Pride Month. These events are pushing an aggressive LGBT ideology upon our children, and we must act urgently to protect them.

These drag queen storytimes are designed to normalize a sexually perverse lifestyle among our children and society. They aim to indoctrinate kids into the LGBTQ+ way of life, undermining the truth of male and female genders. These events not only hijack our children's innocence but also push a sexual agenda that destroys the core values of our society.

We can make a difference by raising our voices and standing up against these events. The Durham Children's Aid Society and the participating libraries will have no choice but to listen to our concerns and cancel the remaining drag queen storytimes. We can preserve the innocence and well-being of our children, but only if we act together.

This is urgent. Two of these events have already occurred, with six more scheduled on the coming weekends. We must act now before it's too late.

Please sign and protect kids within Durhan Region from this latest attempt to steal their childhoods.

Cancel Drag Queen Story Hours

Dear Andrea Maenza and John Henry,

We, the undersigned, urgently call on you to end the Drag Queen storytimes taking place across Durham Region. As concerned citizens, parents, and community members, we believe that these events are inappropriate for children and are an aggressive attempt to push the LGBT ideology onto our youth.

As reported by True North Centre, the Durham Children's Aid Society is hosting multi-week drag queen story hour events across the region in libraries such as Oshawa Public Libraries, Whitby Public Library, Pickering Public Library, and Brock Libraries. These events aim to celebrate Pride month and indoctrinate our children into the LGBT lifestyle.

Two of these events have already occurred on May 27 at the Brock and Uxbridge libraries, with more scheduled for June 3 and June 10. We urge you to cancel the remaining events and prevent any future similar activities.

The Durham Children's Aid Society was established to help children navigate life's uncertainties. However, by promoting and indoctrinating children into a dangerous lifestyle that encourages gender confusion and medical transitions, society is failing to fulfill its mission. Instead of guiding children through difficult situations and fostering responsible, capable adults, the society supports a lifestyle that undermines the truth that there are only men and women.

Drag queen storytimes are intended to normalize a sexually perverse lifestyle in our society and culture. They aim to indoctrinate and groom children into the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, undermining libraries' crucial work in fostering children's interests and the innocence of childhood exploration. These events hijack our children's innocence to push a sexual agenda, further sexualizing our culture and validating the LGBTQ+ community's destructive lifestyle.

This current attempt is particularly alarming, as an institution designed to help children in vulnerable positions allows these kids to be used by those who wish to achieve their own selfish goals and satisfy their sexual fantasies.

We call on you, Andrea Maenza, as the Coordinator, Communications and Community Relations for Durham Children's Aid Society, and John Henry, as the Durham Regional Chair, to immediately stop the Drag Queen storytimes in Durham Region. We ask that you prioritize children's welfare, innocence, and development and protect them from being exposed to this inappropriate and harmful agenda.

Sincerely,
