W ich kampanii hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlFriend natychmiast stał się popularnym trendem na całym Twitterze i Facebooku.
GLAAD, gejowska organizacja lobbystyczna w USA, demonstrująca zbiorową nienawiść do chrześcijan, opublikowała oświadczenie krytykujące 11 filmów wydanych przez Disneya w 2015 roku, jakoże zauważyli "0 pojawień się osób LGBT" w tych filmach.
Warto przy tym zwrócić uwagę, że badania National Health Interview Survey, opublikowane przez Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – są to wysoce estymowane badania – ujawniają fakt, że mniej niż 3 procent respondentów określiło siebie jako gejów, lesbiki bądź biseksualistów. Globalne media, pod wpływem kampanii zaczęły publikować artykuły określające przesłanie tej akcji jako "uniwersalne... istnieją kobiety, które kochają kobiety, i także one zasługują na ich historie miłosne". To zjednoczone żądanie do Disney'a aby "poprawić swój rekord poprzez reprezentowanie osób LGBT".
„Kraina Lodu” jest najbardziej dochodowym filmem animowanym wszech czasów. Wpływa on na serca i umysły dzieci. I am writing you today out of concern for children across the world.
As I am sure you are aware, Frozen is the highest-grossing animated film of all time. With that success comes certain responsibility. Your film and hidden messages in your film influence the hearts and minds of children across the world.
I am using my voice to join with the others who’ve signed this petition, asking you not placate political correctness by turning Queen Elsa into a lesbian. Such a demand to turn Queen Elsa's character into a lesbian stems from a political movement intended to feed the young audience with a divisive political message.
We call on Disney to follow its normal trend and create a Prince character to fall in love with Queen Elsa.
Countless costumes and other movie character memorabilia are sold at large volumes reaching millions in sales. Girls across the world watch Disney movies to grow up dreaming of having a life much like their favorite Disney princess or dreaming of the day they marry their own Prince Charming.
It is important that Disney not use the influence of a film to feed our children with a political message. Please use your film to send a positive message to children, not divisive political propaganda only supported by a portion of the world.
Children are innocent and it is very important not to refocus the film with political messages, but rather keep to its original theme by helping children dream of eternal values, such as: love, friendship, faithfulness, loyalty, generosity, etc.
We ask that Disney find a nice and loving Prince for Queen Elsa to fall in love with.
