Two well-known multinational food brands have deliberately erased Christian images from their packaging.
Carrefour and Nestlé’s line of Greek yogurts feature the well-known image of the Orthodox Church of San Anastasi on the island of Santorini… but the cross on the church has been erased!
Join this petition, directed to the CEO of Carrefour, Alexandre Bompard, and the CEO of Nestlé, Mark Schneider. The petition demands that they stop removing Christian images from their packaging and promoting Christianophobia.
Carrefour and Nestlé have chosen to offend Christians in order to prevent potential "insult" to followers of other religions. They are altering reality to appease the anti-Christian agenda. We must make it clear that this is not acceptable.
We will not quietly accept the erasure of Christianity or Christian symbols. We are asking that Carrefour and Nestlé stop treating the cross with contempt.
The cross is a symbol that represents peace, love, and concord. It is not something to be ashamed of. The image of the cross on a church should not offend anyone - whether Muslim, Buddhist, or atheist.
What is offensive is the deliberate altering of reality to erase Christian symbols. This is what Carrefour and Nestlé have done by removing the cross from their packaging.
Other companies - such as Lidl - who previously made the same mistake, have already publicly apologized.
When the Christian community speak out against these offenses, corporations listen.
Join us by speaking out today. Ask the CEOs of these brands for a correction and apology.
