Asia Bibi is being charged with blasphemy and apostasy for holding fast to her Christian faith in the predominantly muslim country of Pakistan. Asia Bibi did not receive a fair or just trial and sentence. She has not even had a chance to defend her innocence against false accusations.

NEW EVIDENCE

Although the witnesses were already examined, their testimony did not match what the Polish filmmakers managed to capture. The film Freedom for Asia Bibi (produced by CitizenGO, HazteOir.org, SWM "Youth for the World", Publishing Office "Rafael") may be a new evidence in the case of Asia Bibi!

This petition is addressed to the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad. We want them to recognize the film as evidence. Sign the petition and CitizenGO will submit it at the court. The film includes statements delivered by two main accusers: Mohammed Idris (the owner of the field where Asia allegedly committed blasphemy) and Mohammed Salim (the local imam). They both admit they did not hear Asia Bibi say the words of blasphemy she is accused of. They only heard the accounts of Asma and Mafia, the eye-witnesses of alleged blasphemy. But it is Mohammed Idris and Mohammed Salim who are the official main witnesses at the Pakistani court.

Mohammed Salim also states that it is his religious obligation to defend the dignity of the Prophet and that is why he decided to be a witness before the court.
Another imam, Abdul Rasheed, states that if Asia Bibi is released by the Supreme Court, all of Pakistan will protest against the verdict and Asia Bibi will be punished anyway.
