Update: The bylaw update passed at the September 26 board meeting.

Our freedom of speech is under attack at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB).

On June 20th, Trustee Brea Corbet (Mississauga Wards 9 & 10) requested staff to bring forward an updated bylaw for the DPCDSB, which would require parents and delegates at school board meetings to "adhere to Policy 9.01 Catholic Code of Conduct and any other related policies when delegating."

Parents' rights are being challenged in Ontario schools as their freedoms about their child's education are curtailed. Despite Premier Doug Ford's promise to permit the opt-out from the contentious Ford/Wynne sex-ed curriculum, a parent's request met refusal at a York Region District School by Superintendent Liz Davis. Stop Naked Drag Marches In Front of Children

Recent Pride parades across Canada and the United States have included rampant nudity, with some parades featuring naked men in front of children.

We are deeply concerned about this inappropriate behavior and are calling on Toronto Mayor, Olivia Chow, to take immediate action to stop these naked Pride parades.
