UK Banking Betrayal - Yorkshire Building Society: Reinstate Rev Richard’s Account Now!
UK Banking Betrayal - Yorkshire Building Society: Reinstate Rev Richard’s Account Now!
They want to close your bank account because of the way you think!
Banks are there to manage money? … well it seems this is no longer the case.
Much of the banking establishment has now taken on a new role: engaging in social engineering and imposing their beliefs on their customers.
Shockingly, they are now resorting to closing accounts of individuals who share a different opinion to that which they promote!
The recent closure of Vicar Rev Richard Fothergill's bank account by Yorkshire Building Society is a stark example of this disturbing trend.
Rev Richard Fothergill, an Anglican Vicar, did as little as return a feedback survey which he was sent, expressing his opinion regarding the bank’s recent promotion of LGBTQ+ ideology.
We need to move fast - the Vicar has been given just 14 days to move his money before his account is closed. Time is running out, and he needs your support now.
Sign this petition here and now to the CEO Susan Allen demanding that Yorkshire Building Society reinstates Rev Richard Fothergill's account and commits to non-discrimination based on differences of opinion. We must hold them accountable for such actions.
We find it deeply disturbing and discriminatory that banks are now involving themselves in vicious social engineering by picking and choosing who they manage their money for, solely based on their views on the LGBTQ agenda.
The Vicar had merely expressed two perfectly valid points, in the customer’s survey, which he in fact was sent, by the bank:
-
The bank should consider using its time more constructively and should focus on managing money rather than promoting ideologies
-
He objects to the endorsing and sponsoring of the transexual ideology, which often serves to groom and indoctrinate children and promotes dangerous gender transformation
Within hours of submitting the survey, Vicar Richard’s bank account was closed indefinitely!
Most concerning is that YBS is not alone in this - Natwest, Metro, Tide, FirstDirect, PayPay have all been kicking people out that don’t subscribe to the LGBTQ agenda, and similar actions have been taken against conservative individuals, Christian organizations, and even figures like Nigel Farage.
Barclays Bank recently closed the account of Core Issues Trust, a charity that provides counseling and support for individuals who voluntarily leave LGBT identities.
Thankfully, they were forced to pay over £20,000 in damages to the Christian group Core Issues Trust and the International Federation for Therapeutic and Counselling Choice.
But this ongoing pervasive targeting of conservatives in the financial sector is deeply concerning and highlights the urgent need for us to do something about it.
The key to this fight lies in the power of our collective action. By mobilizing concerned citizens like yourself, we can make a powerful statement and hold Yorkshire Building Society and others, accountable for their actions.
Join us in this campaign by signing the petition to send a clear message that banks should prioritize financial management, not impose ideological preferences - it is crucial that we act now, not only for the sake of Rev Richard Fothergill, but also to prevent this disturbing practice from becoming commonplace.
The goal of this campaign is a simple one - we want to see the Vicar's account reinstated and an end to discrimination against customers with differing opinions!
The banks are overstepping their boundaries and we cannot sit idly by while individuals like Rev Richard Fothergill are targeted - a bank closure today … I dare to think what awaits tomorrow for people like us!
We refuse to be at the mercy of banks who choose their customers based on their opinions, rather than their financial needs.
YBS needs to learn the hard way - they risk losing the trust and support of countless customers who believe in diversity of opinion. After all, banks exist to manage money, not engage in social engineering.
It is high time we stand up against such discriminatory practices and demand that UK banks focus on their core responsibilities rather than enforcing ideological conformity.
Yorkshire Building Society’s must stop with their bullying and intimidating measures. Help us protect the rights of individuals to express themselves without fear of financial repercussions. Sign the petition now and let's amplify our impact in holding banks accountable for their prejudiced practices.
