The United Nations is quickly convening the members of its Commission on Population and Development (CPD) from Monday, April 19th 2021. The 54th session of the CPD happens almost back to back with two very controversial conference that just took place at the United Nations to push for anti-life and anti-family agenda- The Commission on the Status of Women and the Generation Equality Forum.
Now they are asking members to attend a cyber meeting where they will negotiate how to use international aid funding towards their response to the COVID-19 pandemic and population and food security. Sadly, international aid funding for abortion is one of the top priorities.

Food security and nutrition are vital needs all over the world. By reading the title, one would think the United Nations is trying to use international aid funding for important needs.
However, the document reads, "that women and girls play a vital role as agents of development, acknowledging that achieving gender equality and the 7 out of10
empowerment of and full realization of rights for all women and girls and women’s full and effective participation and leadership depends upon addressing key gender equality barriers and eliminating all forms of discrimination, including multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination, and sexual and gender-based violence are crucial to the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development... particularly sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights, thus promoting food security and health and adequate nutrition for all...."
If the Bureau Chairs delete paragraph 21 and 22, they remove abortion from the document.
